My child does not stop eating.
A 2-stone, yoghurt-demolishing, rice-cake-inhaling, humous hoover who barely bothers to chew… She is definitely her father’s daughter…
It’s impressive.
But exhausting.
Looking back, perhaps I should have seen the signs…
The broccoli journey… fowl. |
These lasted about 2 weeks before Ella’s Kitchen became the main food provider in the Wally household… |
The now famous ‘bread sneer’. |
Rice pudding pleases me. |
Rice cake heaven… |
What. Have I got something on my face? |
I won’t be eating anything other than ice cream now. |
This isn’t ice cream. |
Toast is my friend. |
You may think you’ve won by making me eat salad, but this is in fact my angry gilet. |
I find the only way to truly appreciate a banana is to eat it whole. Sideways. With a pancake. |
Sandwich attitude… |
Horse or not, these meatballs are like miniature balls of meat-flavoured love. You may live. |

Ahhh, those first couple of years where they'll eat anything, I remember it with fondness….and so will you… 😀
Replylol – I knew it was going too well… god is there any part that I can look forward to.. PAHAHAHA xxx
ReplyIt's a rainbow curve from 'anything' through the wilderness of 'mild cheddar sandwiches' back through to 'anything but especially if it's drizzled with Jalopeno/Vindaloo sauce and scores 4 chillis on the menu….
Replywell I bet that makes for exotic nappies… or do they coincide that stage with potty-traning… *tuts* – #beginningtoregeretthewholething… lol x
ReplyWhat's known in the trade as A Good Little Eater 🙂
Replyha 😉 yes – that she is x
ReplyI love the picture journey!
ReplyMakes me realise how big she's got 🙁 why can't they stay smaller for longer! Boo x thanks for the comment 😉 xxx
ReplyLucky you…mine doesn't eat at all (unless it's coated in chocolate)!
Replylol – I've probably just jinxed myself and by tonight she'll eat nothing but Heinz Biscotti… 😉 xx
ReplySounds familiar! Love the rice cake and ice cream photos! x
Reply:))) x thanks 😉 xxx
ReplyEnjoy it while it lasts. Our Austin used to eat so much that he was perfectly spherical – as wide as he was tall. Now all that he will eat is cheese, smoked salmon and mussels. A strange little boy.
ReplySounds like a good diet to me! lol x
ReplyGosh this made me laugh! Mine's a total Hoover baby too. Except she won't eat bananas like normal babies. I have to disguise them in fromage frais and sneak them into her. If the banana to yogurt ratio is too high she susses it and spits them right back out. Gah!

ReplyJust Pirouette and Carry On…
lol x mine will eat anything. ANYTHING. ha! x
ReplyWhat a lovely post! It will be interesting to see which way she goes when she reaches the crossroads! My youngest was a good eater… At first, and now has a VERY short list of things he will eat. While my eldest has a deep and abiding love for food and has a very short list of things he wont!
PS: Sorry, I removed my previous comment because I haven't got a proper profile on Google+ yet!
ReplyThe 'crossroads' lol – I shall remember that term! I guess I will ahem to wait and see 😉 x
Replyhahaha, sounds like M. He loves to eat most things though throws me a disgusted look if I try to give him Hummus.
ReplyHaha 😉 quite an acquired taste I suppose! Mine pops olives like sweets – truly odd… Lol x
